This 2-Hour Fall Protection Training Program was designed and developed for workers who may be asked to work in environments where they may be exposed to fall hazards. See, preventing falls can mean the difference between life and death. Each year, hundreds of workers are killed in America's workplaces and thousands more are permanently disabled. Each of these falls could be prevented with proper planning, proper fall protection equipment, and proper training for workers. This program was designed to ensure participants understand where falls happen, the anatomy of a fall, and how to protect themselves from falls.
Upon completion of this training course, participants will have a greater awareness of their rights and their employer’s responsibilities under Occupation Safety & Health Act of 1970; the working conditions that prompt the use of fall protection and, the options that are available to protect workers from falls.

Upon successful completion of this program, participants will be able to:
- Describe their rights under the Occupational Safety & Health Act
- Describe their employer’s responsibilities under the Occupational Safety & Health Act
- Understand the anatomy of a fall
- Identify where fatal falls often occur
- Identify where non-fatal falls occur
- Recognize a variety of fall hazards in the workplace
- Discuss the best work practices in the prevention of falls
- List at least four methods (systems) of fall protection available for protecting workers
- Be familiar with inspection requirements for Personal Fall Arrest Systems
- Know how to properly inspect, don, and store a Personal Fall Arrest System
- Identify adequate anchorage points
- Understand the need for a rescue plan
